		<description>Thanks for posting this excellent analysis of the proposed Wal-Mart Sustainability Index. Their intentions may be good, but as the saying goes, &quot;The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. The index can help Wal-Mart in selecting products and suppliers for the items that make it to their shelves, but it may produce perverse effects on the consumers. In spite of their commitment to avoid greenwashing, they are, perhaps inadvertently, going to make matters worse.
